よい点
折りたたみ式というのが魅力。
音もまあまあいい。
イヤフィット構造なのでちゃんとフィットする。

悪い点
ヘッドホンをつけたときにロボットみたいな形になる(?.?)
ローラーなんてあっても意味がない！
金メッキすぐはがれる。(私は7日で・・・)
耳がすぐ汗ばんでくる・・

非常に軽く、装着していてストレスが全くないため、
長時間の使用に適しています。
頭頂部に来るバンドが、幅の広いプラスチック製なのがネックでしょう。
この軽さと装着感でこの音質は素晴らしいです。

表現音域下限が20Hzということで、クラシックやジャズ、レゲエなど
低音の表現力が求められるジャンルを聴くには適していませんが
中・高音なら鮮やかで混じり気のない表現力を発揮してくれます。
低音に強くないヘッドホンのほうがよく味わえるジャンル、
ダンスやトランス、ポップスを聴くのには適したヘッドホンです。

ただし、写真からも判る通りシェル部分の材質が材質なので、
耳の蒸れには注意です。

【特徴】
密閉型で折り畳みができるATH-Tシリーズの最上位機種。低価格品と異なるのは多分使用されているユニットだけ。ハウジングの金型は同じ。ユニットが違ってもひどいドンシャリ。テンションが高いなんて程度のものではない。まるで銭湯の響きだ。しかし、折り畳みできるが２万円以上もするウルトラゾーネのヘッドホンなんてとんでもないと考える人にとっては一つの選択肢。能率は非常に高いので貧弱なポータブル機器のアンプでもOK。
【問題点】
F0(最低共振周波数)が高く持ち上げられているのと、高域がまるで土管の中で聞くような音がする。1低音を引き締めること、2ハウジングの鳴りを抑え、さらに内部の共鳴を防ぐこと、を目的に改造をお薦めする。
【改造内容】
1ユニットを取り付けたバッフル板をイヤーパッドごと外す。耳側のネジ1本ゆるめるだけ。2空気抜き穴を塞ぐ。ターボエキサイタというのは単なる穴。これが低音時のダイアフラムの制動を効かなくしてスカスカ揺れるようにしている。穴に詰め込むのはカーペット材などの固めの繊維。3ハウジングがカンカン鳴るので、ハウジング内部に吸音材を入れる。100均でぬいぐるみ用の中綿を買ってきてキツメに詰める。このとき固めのカーペット材を形に併せて切り間仕切りにし、ユニットを綿が直接押さないようにする。これによりハウジングはカンカンからポコポコという音に変わり制振される。ただしあまり強く詰めるとバッフル板が湾曲し音が歪むようになるので要注意。
【改善効果】
低域，高域の持ち上がりが無くなり(とは言ってもまだ他に比較すればド派手だが)、中域の解像度が増した。低域も妙なピークはなくダラ下がりのような感じ。全域に渡って無駄な音が取れ奥行き感はしっかり表現できるようになった。それでも、私の常用のスタジオモニター，フォステクスT50RPに比較するとまだ余分な音が出ている。実力の差は致し方ない。
