去年一年間見てきて、年末の総集編を見逃した人やもう一度みたいと思う人にはかなりのお勧め品☆大河ドラマの中でも珍しいタイプでしたが、このような時代に訴えるものがある大河でした。夫婦、友情、主従関係を重んじる役柄は忘れていた心意気を思い出させてくれました。あの豪華主演もすばらしかったですし、主演のお二人も役柄にハマっていました。何もいわず買いだと思います。

大河ドラマを見る楽しみのひとつに、普段現代劇でしか見ることのない俳優を、時代劇で見れるというところがある。ときどき、びっくりするぐらい似合ってる人がいて、驚く反面、ちょっと嬉しい気持ちになる。
「利家とまつ」最大のヒットは、佐脇良之役の竹ノ内豊さん。時代劇出演が初めてとは思えないほど、若武者姿がはまってました。早々に死んでしまう役だったのが、実に残念。もっと見たかったなあ。

動乱の世を、美しく生きた男たちと、たくましく生きた女たちのドラマ。
主人公は前田利家だが、それに対比して、秀吉が裏主人公ともいえるほど濃い描かれ方をしている。ある意味では、利家を語り部とした秀吉の物語とも言えそうだ。秀吉役の香川照之さんが本当にいい味だった。
柴田勝家役の松平健さん、浅野長政役の加藤雅也さんなど、利家と秀吉を取り巻くキャストも素晴らしく、誰もが印象的な芝居を見せてくれた。

史実がどうの、と文句を言ってる人がいますが、ドラマとしては、最高に面白かったと思いますよ。

時は戦国の世。前田利家とて、加賀一向一揆衆に対し、釜茹でなどかなり残忍な事をしているのだが、逆に庇護するなどここでは美談ばかりである。また、歴史的な事件には必ずといっていいほど、まつが現れ、介入する。又、秀吉が本能寺の変を予知して、事前に大返しの準備をしていたなど滅茶苦茶である。 豪華と人気を履き違えたキャストなど何かと問題の多いドラマで、その軽さはドラマの最後の締め括りで「私達、一生懸命生きて参りました。」→完☆という脚本家の質が疑われそうな、まつの台詞が端的に物語っている。
