私はダニー・クーチマーとは相性が悪い。
ドン・ヘンリーの相棒やってたり、ジャクソン・ブラウンの
バンドにいた時はすばらしいミュージシャンだと思うのだが、
ピンでたつと、どうも合わない。
このアルバムも紙ジャケゆえ２回も買いなおしたが、残念ながら
素晴らしいアルバムだなあというところまではいかず。

でも「いいアルバム」だとは思うのだが、世間で言われている
名盤のカテゴリーには私的には届かずの作品

　1970年という発表年を考えるととてつもない先進性を感じさせられるアルバムです。シャープな演奏、どこかさわやかな聴き味、音楽性の幅は広く、ひ弱さや薄っぺらさが全くないところがすごい。
　音楽の才能児ってのはやはりあるものだな。

　2曲めの「Midnight Rider」はイーグルスの「Desperadoならず者」の元曲だと思います。
　アルバム後半は「もうそろそろアルバムが終わるなぁ」というムードに入るかと思えばまた勢いがついたりと、まるで下り坂になったりまた上り坂になったりする感じで、お爺さんは峠の茶屋「コットン・アイド・ジョー」で愛を注いでもらって満足じゃよ。
