   世界中のクラブチームや代表チームが登場するサッカーゲーム。ヨーロッパや北中米、南米、日本、韓国などのサッカーリーグが登録され、さらに12,000人もの実名選手の登場で、よりリアルなゲーム展開を楽しむことができる。

 「キャリアモード」では高校リーグからセミプロリーグ、そして世界中のサッカーリーグで戦うことが可能。さらに「移籍モード」で世界中のトップ選手を自分のクラブに集め最強チームを作ることもできる。また、感動の2002年までの道のりを追体験できる「日本選抜チーム強化モード」は2002年のワールドカップを彷彿とさせる。ゲームに収録されているのは世界15ヵ国24リーグ、550以上のクラブチームで、日本、イタリア、イギリス、スペイン、ドイツなどは1部、2部リーグに分かれている。代表チームは日本、ヨーロッパ、アフリカ、アジア、北中南米の合計81ヵ国が用意されている。

   そのほかFIF-PRO（欧州プロサッカー選手会）との契約により、実名選手12000人が登録されており、世界のクラブ・実名選手を掲載した選手名鑑も収録されている。データベースとしても非常に役に立つだろう。なお、本タイトルではマルチタップを使用することで最大8人までプレイすることができる。友達同士でも熱くなることは間違いない。（林田信浩）

操作性の悪さ、ロード時間の長さなどの問題点は他の方のレビューにある通りです。
このゲームの長所を挙げると、
・選手の顔が似ている(ただし、高原選手などのＷ杯に未出場または出場が少ない選手は似てないので注意)
・ウイニングイレブンシリーズなどとは違い、ピッチ上に審判がいる
・警告・退場・選手交代などのシーンが細かい

などの点があげられます。
見た目重視ならOKかも。

あと、日本代表のトルシエ就任後からＷ杯までの４年間の全ての国際試合をシミュレートできるモードがあります。

　このゲームの前作を北米版でやり、どうしても早く遊びたかったので欧州版をプレイしました。
　このゲームの収録チーム数の多さは圧倒的です（７００以上）。日本版では権利の関係でどうなるかわかりませんがＪ１，Ｊ２の選手も実名で収録されていました。

　また、イングランドの１部・２部、セリエＢ等の下部リーグも収録されています。操作性などは、個人的にはウイイレには及ばないものの、FIFA2003よりは優れていると感じました。

・点を入れるのが難しい
・チーム名が合ってなく、エディットしても使えない（？）
・アルゼンチン代表にアイマールとサビオラがいる
・データが豊富
・オランダ代表全員名前がただしくない
・ロード時間がとてーーーも長い
