あなたがもし金管楽器奏者なら、間違い無くこのＤＶＤに衝撃を受けるでしょう。特にＴｐのマティアス・ヘフスの歌心を伴った超絶的な演奏にはただただ驚くばかりです。（ここまでＰｉｃｃで歌い上げることが出来るのはＭ・アンドレくらいでしょう）また、パルティータの２番等の名曲でありながらブラスアンサンブルとしては難しいレパートリーにも積極的に取り組んでいるプログラムも◎です。

Wunderbar!!とは「ブラボー!!」をドイツ語でいったものです。（ジャーマンブラスに敬意を表して一応ドイツ語で....）

　以前TVで観た時に全身に衝撃が走った感動が甦ってきました。とにかくピッコロトランペットに始まり、ホルンのリード奏者、バルブトロンボーンの甘美な音色、チューバの極限までの息使い、どれをとっても本当に素晴らしい。特にコラールプレリュード「イエスよ私は主の名を呼ぶ」はその美しさに酔いしれること間違いなしです。

　これを観たら誰もが「実際の場ではどんな響きがするのだろう？」と想像せずにはいられないことでしょう。

5.0 out of 5 stars 金管楽器を吹かない人にこそ聴いて頂きたい。, 2007/7/16
ジャーマン・ブラスは結成当初、ベルリンフィル首席、コンラーディン・グロート氏などによる、クインテットだった。
今は編成もメンバーも異なるが演奏水準は素晴らしいの一語に尽きる。
これは、もはや「金管アンサンブル」として優れているという以上に、音楽が素晴らしいのである。
勿論金管を吹く人、好きな人は必見だ。トランペットを吹く人は、ヘフス氏の完璧にコントロールされた、ピッコロ・トランペットの妙技にため息が出ることだろう。
しかし、ラッパのテクニックだけに気を取られては勿体ない。このＤＶＤは「金管アンサンブルなど興味が無い」という音楽ファンにこそ聴いて頂きたい。
