　このアルバムの一番の良さは持田の詞に見られる人間愛の描写の深さや自然の観察眼の鋭さを作曲家陣が持田になりきって描いているところだと思う。（もっとも同じ事がこれ以後すべてのアルバムにも言えるのだが…。）このアルバムからほぼすべての詞を持田が担うわけだが、その創作意欲だけでも恐れ入る。サウンド的にはM1,2によるオープニングの盛り上げ方や中〜後半部のM9,10,11ののりの良いつながりも良い。（特に人気の高いM10は初期の五十嵐サウンドを思わせる）が、なんといってもこのアルバムの聴き所はバラード群にあると思う。特にM5,6,12の出来は秀逸だ。詞の深さ、優しい曲調、持田の声が三位一体となってまさしく昇天ものであり、とてもとても豊かな気持ちになれるバラード群だ。アルバムはM13の熱唱でいったん幕を閉じるが、その後に空白がある。この時間帯にジャケットを見つめていると、これがまた至福な時となる。

ELTのアルバムは初めて買いました。買って大正解です。
シングル曲が多いにもかかわらず、土台であるシングル曲に新曲がしっかりとつなぎの役目をしていて、アルバムとして聴くと最高ですね。

シングルを持っている人でも通して聴いてみると、新たな一面が見えてくるのではないでしょうか。きちんと１枚のアルバムとしての目標というか、テーマみたいなのをしっかりつかんでいます。
歌い方に多様性がありますね。録音の期間が長いので、少しばらつきもあるかもしれないけど、持田さんのVocalはこれからますます磨かれると期待しています。

これを機に、昔のアルバムも聴いてみようと思います。

久々のアルバム、期待通りの内容。歌唱力、表現力、歌詞、曲、どれをとっても文句なし。最高の1枚！どの曲も（シングル曲が多いせいか）インパクトが強くて、スゴクいいんだけど、個人的には「Grip！」が好き。あの歌を聴くと本当に元気が出る。ちなみにあの曲調や声音はパッと聴くと98年頃のELTを想い出させるけど、よく聴くとメロディーのつなぎ目なんかの余韻が全然違う。もっちぃの進化ぶりには本当に驚かされる・・・（秋のベストも楽しみ・・・）
