keyのミッコが脱退してしまったが、なんとゲストにストラトヴァリウスのイェンスが参加しています。今回はミディアムテンポの曲が多く、新しい一面を見せたという感じです。ギターに関しては前回ほど目立ったソロ（速弾き）が無かったので少々残念ですが、新世代メタル界のトップランナーとしての威厳は健在です。ストラトヴァリウス好きの方も必聴です。

今作はファンの期待を裏切らないソナタ節に、多くのライブ経験、過酷なレコーディング条件を乗り越えてきた彼らの真の力量に裏打ちされる、深み・多様性が混合された作品といえると思います。疾走ナンバー#3#7#9でのKeyとGのユニゾンやかけあいはソナタの真骨頂といえるし、かたや疾走ナンバーであっても、#1のようにギターソロがないが為に逆に引き立っている曲もあり（←前２作のオープニングナンバーに比べても何ら遜色ありません。）シングルカットされた#6はメランコリーな感じがする。#4での３連のハネた感じもとてもいい。前２作もとても素晴らしいアルバムであることに変わりはありませんが、間違いなく今作はスケールアップしていると思います。ライブのセットリストはどうやって組むのでしょう。やってほしい曲ばかりなので当の本人たちはきっと省く曲を決めるのに一苦労でしょう。

本当にこのバンドはきっちりとファンの期待に応えてくれる。今回も1曲目からソナタ節全開で、素晴らしい疾走ぶりを見せつけてくれる。作風としては前作に近く、疾走チューンとバラードがバランスよく配置されている。

ただし、曲ごとのデキは満足いくのだが、曲のつながりがよくない。結構唐突に終わる曲が多く、しかも次の曲がすぐに始まるので、とおしで聴いていると微妙な曲間が気になる。
とはいっても全体のレベルは高いので、初めての人も安心して手を出せる作品だ。
