   俳優で武術の達人であるジェット・リーと因習にとらわれない監督ツイ・ハークが、熱狂的な人気の「ワンス・アポン・ア・タイム・イン・チャイナ」シリーズの第2作目であるこの作品で、再び史実に基づき中国の英雄的人物であるウォン・フェイフォン（黄飛鴻）を描いた。主なキャストは、ウォン・フェイフォンを演じるリー、彼の恋人で叔母だが西洋風なイー（十三姨）を演じるロザムンド・クワン、そして不器用な弟子のフゥ（梁寛）を演じるマックス・モクだ。中国は政情が不安な時期にあった。孫文は国家主義の政党を率いて勢いを手にし始めている。清の提督（熟練の武術家ドニー・イェンが強烈に演じた）は治安を守る者としての職務を断固として遂行し、そして異常な宗教集団「白蓮教」は市民を襲ったり外国のものを破壊することですべてを手中にしようとする。ウォンたちは提督と白蓮教の両方を敵に回すことになり、提督と白蓮教には当初装っていた以上に相通じるものがあった。やがて物語は、積み上げたテーブルの上での白蓮教団との飛ぶような徹底的な闘い（この闘いでウォンも、彼らしくなく逆上する）や、リーとイェンの一騎討ちを含む、激しいアクション・シーンへと向かっていく。ツイは多層を成す筋を巧みに操り、一方リーは、申し分なく尽力に値するこの大作の中で、敵を巧みに操る。この作品は、あるいは1作目の『ワンス・アポン・ア・タイム・イン・チャイナ 天地黎明』ほどには重要ではないかも知れないが、ファンにとっては充実したカンフーのごちそうだ。（Shannon Gee, Amazon.com）

天地大乱はワンチャイの中では最高傑作です。
これを見ると一度は弁髪にしてみたくなるのは俺だけでしょうか？　おすすめです。

ワイヤーアクションは最強です。今のジェットリーもすごいですが
この作品のジェットリーはカッコよすぎです。
これを見てワンチャイシリーズを全部見てしまいました。
なんだこの髪型は？って思うかもしれませんが、蘭提督（ドニーイェン）と
ウォン・フェイフォン（ジェットリー）が戦うシーンは鳥肌ものです。

この映画はアクション好きには絶対見てほしいです。
けっこう古いのに、ワイヤーアクションは全く不自然じゃないし、
どの映画の格闘シーンよりいいです。
「ザ・ワン」　や　「ロミオマストダイ」見る前にコレは見てください！
