   オリジナル3作目となる作品。メンバーが「馬刺しを食べたときに、タテガミかあ･･･なんか速そう！」と思って、バンドの疾走感を現したタイトルがJIS第二水準漢字の「鬣」。沖縄民謡に触発され、島唄とは違った方向で「和」の表現にこだわった今作、中でも平安時代くらいまでさかのぼり、大げさなまでに「和」を表現したかったという先行シングル曲<2>は摩訶不思議な和風メロディーと源氏物語51段のイメージを借用したという詞が合体した彼らの新境地。前作のカヴァー・アルバム『虎の穴』で取り上げた「ザ・ピーナッツ」風の楽曲と「今はすごく楽しいけど、これがいつまで続くかわからない」不安を歌った詞が印象的な<5>など、3作目にして自分たちを熟知し貫禄（かんろく）すら感じさせる作品。（石山慎二郎）

新作を出す度に深みのある、クールで個性豊かな味のある曲を発表して
くれる、GO!GO!7188の新作アルバム。
この「鬣(タテガミ)」は、前作のシングル「浮舟」を分かる通り、和風
テイスト溢れ(ちょっと艶っぽい)、メンバーが好きで得意な昔のグ
ループサウンド、ロカビリー調な曲もありと、また独自のロックをやってくれるみたいです。

「鬣」というタイトルからも、和風な匂いがしてとても期待できます!
メンバーの曲作りも段々と洗練され、だけど音は懐かしさも感じる太い
ロックで、アッコさんのベースとユウさんのキュートで強い声、
縁の下の力持ち的なターキーのリズム、このトリオが織り成す世界観が
とても好きです。

マイナー調のメロディと歌謡ロックが好きな私には、今までのアルバムの中で一番好きなアルバムになりそうです。

和製ロックです！
でも、今回は今までのアルバムより「歌謡曲」の要素が強い気がします。
特に「月と甲羅」でのユウさんの声の裏返し方とか、いいですねぇ~。
今回は特にアッコさんのハモリがいいっ！
気持ちいいハモリなんですよね。
思わず口ずさみたくなります。

蛇足歩行を聴いて「ロック色が強すぎる！」と思って
GO!GO!7188を敬遠してしまっている人にオススメです。

ボリューム上げすぎ聴きまくりで耳が痛い朝でした・・・(笑)

ＣＤというものを２年ぶりに買った。
というか、買いたくなった。
前作まではレンタルしてたのに(深謝)
予約までして買ったのなんて高校生の時以来だ。
なぜそのような気持ちになったのか・・不思議。
だんだん、深みを増してく感じがした。
ターキーは、同い年ですが(笑)、

アッコちゃんにユウちゃん！
貴女達のセンスは、同年代を超えております。

どこかで椎名林檎さんと比較されておりましたが・・
『誰かに似てるようでも誰にも似てない』
聴くとわかるよ。

ちなみに私は『ナイフ』のメロディーがたまらん。
歌詞はブラッディーな感じなのですが(怖)

以下マイナスポイント↓

ボーナストラックに辿りつくまでのあの間はなんなの。
カーステレオで聴いてたら３５曲目だった(驚愕)
