このアルバムはあらゆる意味でバランスが非常に良いです。
それはシングル曲とアルバム曲との相性や個々の楽曲の構成云々っていうのもありますが、
ジャンヌのデビュー当時から現在のジャンヌを一通り聴いてきた人なら分かると思いますが、
昔のジャンヌと今のジャンヌが良い感じで共存しているっていう所です！

このアルバムより以前のアルバムはハードな(ヴィジュアルロックとしての)イメージが強すぎ
た感が多少なりともあるし、これ以降のアルバムでは大衆に受けやすいポップな作品をだした
りした為か、それらの曲とコアなファンが喜びそうな初期のジャンヌが得意としたハードやダ
ークな曲とのアルバムでの統一感が良くなかった気がします。(注：だからと言ってそれらの曲
やアルバム自体のレベルは決して低くはなく、クオリティはどれも高いです。)

このアルバムは過去から現在までの“Janne Da Arc”というバンドの良い所取りな作品だと
思うので、ジャンヌを知りたい人は、有名な「月光花」が収録されている『JOKER』やシングル集の
『SINGLES』よりもこの『ANOTHER STORY』をまずは聴いてみて下さい！
きっとジャンヌの二面性どちらにもハマれると思います！！

「ANOTHER STORY」

正直に最高だった。V系は殆ど批判気味だったけど、これは凄く感動した。
特にyasuの声が綺麗すぎて…(涙




まず「1/5の音箱」のオルゴールが綺麗だったし、それに乗っかる天使(本当に)のような歌声で天国逝っちゃいそうな……(笑

しかも「Rainy〜愛の調べ〜」が「1/5の音箱」のオルゴールとメロディが一緒で超感動した。

でも1番印象的なのは
「ヴァンパイア」でした。
サビに近付くに連れ、キャッチーでメロディアスになって行き、更にヴァンパイアのもがきや苦しみが生々しく伝わってきます。アルバム曲にしとくには勿体ない…。

こんな素晴らしいアルバムに会えてよかったです。

1曲1曲聴いても素晴らしい楽曲ばかりですが、やはり、コンセプトアルバムというだけに、物語として、最初から最後まで通して聴いて欲しいです。もちろん途中のインスト曲も飛ばさず。これらも曲と曲、物語をつなげる大事な役目を負っていると思います。
小説もあわせて買って見るのもオススメです。このアルバムと物語には勇気をもらいました
