　Fayrayを知るきっかけになったのがこのアルバムの２曲目にも収録されている『好きだなんて言えない』で、「好きだなんて言えない　この想いを告げたなら　きっと君は消えてしまうね」というフレーズが当時の心境にぴったりあっていて、それこそ擦り切れるほどこのアルバムを聞きました。
　全曲ピアノ調の優しい雰囲気に溢れていて、しかも過去の名曲のアレンジVerも収録しており、全く非の打ち所がない……はずが、他のアルバムも聞いてから再びこのアルバムを聞くと、どことなく違和感を感じました。おそらくこのアルバムは全曲サビでの盛り上がりがある、タイアップ狙いのような雰囲気がFayの本来の曲調とズレているからでしょう。(これも＠vexのせいでしょうか…？)　移籍後に発表された『HOURGLASS』と比べるとその差は顕著です。
　Fayを聞いたことの無い人に薦めるには、なじみやすいこのアルバムがいいと思いますが、本来のFayらしい曲を聴きたいなら他のアルバムを聴くべきです。

癒し系っていうのかな。
私には、そういうふうに聞こえます。

シングル発売曲も、６曲収録されており、
ベストアルバムに近いものがあると思います。

Fayrayは、歌手デビューはアンティノスレコードと言うレコード会社でしたが、このアルバムは、エイベックス・トラックスへ移籍し、発表した作品です。

Fayrayが気になるけど、まだ、良く聞いたことが無いという方は、
このアルバム「白い花」を、まず、お勧めします。

CCCDなのが、残念です。

どこかなつかしさを感じる質の高いポップス。
それは彼女が、アメリカンポップスやジャズまでも、うまく消化してしまっているから。
ききやすく、心が癒される・・・・、奇をてらったメロディーではないですが、たまらなく好きです。
