自分は悪くないと思った。特に「3.Bubble Gum Society」など。もうほとんど大滝詠一か、という感じではあるが（笑）
これがCosaの音かと言われると「う~む」かもしれないし、他の曲もボーカルがゲストによって担われていくこともあり、鈴木桃子-小田玲子ラインのイメージからはかけ離れていたりする。

でもそれはそれで、純粋に新作として聴いてみると悪くないと思った。
そもそもCosaはプロデューサー集団として成立していたユニットと思っているので、常に変化しながら、新たなテイストを加えながら、昔と未来とを行き来させてくれる貴重なバンドだと思う。

どんなアーティスト/バンドにもバイオリズムがある。デビュー当初の手探り状態からはじまり、次第に波に乗ってくる時期を経て、やがて失速していく…もちろん、一度失速したかに見えて、再浮上するアーティスト/バンドも存在する。
翻って Cosa の黄金期はいつだったのだろう？
人それぞれに意見はあるはずだが、95~98年、アルバム「 Our Thing 」の時期までを挙げる人は多いに違いない。この時期の、6人のメンバーがいた Cosa は今聴いても最高だった…。
そしてこの「 Arrival 」。到達したのは、この音だったのか…。
あの頃の Cosa は、もう、ない。荒々しい疾走感をも、スタイリッシュに聴かせてしまうマジックは、消えてしまった。もちろん、「 Cosa らしさ」はまだまだある。キュートで小粋な…しかし同時に、音が駆抜けていく、あのスピード溢れる Cosa は、もう、ない。ふたつの魅力を持っていた Cosa は、今、ひとつの魅力しか持っていない。
そう、このアルバムは、懐かしい Cosa の同窓会。もう解散したと思っていたファンに届けられた同窓会の通知なのだ。だから星は☆☆、一ファンからの感謝の気持ちを込めて☆ひとつプラス。
それでもアルバム「 Our Thing 」やミニ・アルバム「 Seven 」をCDプレーヤーに入れながら思うのだ、 Cosa こそは、唯一無比の最高のグループだった…。
