エレクトリックなビートとアナログな弦＆浮遊感のあるVoが絡むサウンド。センチメンタルな旋律。
聴いて浮かぶ情景は、コンピュータだらけの社会の中で、いろんなことを考えながら生活する少年少女の姿だ。なんだか目まぐるしく変わっていっている辺りに追いつこうと走り、ときには身を委ね生活する姿。
もし人の思考回路をそのまま電子音楽に変換出来たとしたら、こうなるんだろうか？と思ったほど、表現に富んだ名作。

印象派のようなカバーアートに惹かれて
ジャケ買いした1枚。

実験性に満ち、ノイズ・サンプリング・スクラッチ・打ち込みが
バンドサウンドと混然と溶け合い、とってもクール。
さざなみのように変化するサウンドが、文句なしにかっこいい！
まさに、進化した印象派。

なんでも、レコード店員が組んだプロジェクトだとか。
NYは、奥が深い。

真に「アーティスト」といえる
アーティストです。

なんだろう、この感じ・・・
スクラッチ、
打ち込み、
ROCKギター、
HIP HOP,TECHNO,ROCK等すべての要素が散りばめられうまくMIXされている。
久々にかっちょいい！と思える作品に出会ったような気がする。

アーティストでいえばSUPERCARをもっと×２かっちょよくした感じ、UNDERWORLDにいろんな要素を詰め込んだ感じ。

彼らは「shortlist music prize」(?)といった賞にRADIOHEADやMOGWAIと肩を並べてノミネートされている。
私が聴いた感じではこの二つに引けは取らないだろう。
ちなみにこの賞は第１回目のグランプリはSIGUR ROSであった、なんともアーティスティック性の高い賞である。

とにかく必聴盤だ！
