パロット＋タヴァナー・コンソートによるバロック作品集で、ヴェネチアで活躍した作曲家の作品を集めたものです。別の形で発売されていた５枚のＣＤをセットにしたもので、これはお買い得。これからパロットを集めようとしている人には打って付けのものでしょう。パロットの特徴、爽やかで透明度の高い響きはここでも健在。期待を裏切りません。ただ、声楽曲は高く評価したい一方、器楽だけの部分は、曲により、何となくスカスカしていて少々物足りないように感じるものもあります。
