ヒップホップ＆フォークと呼ばれているらしいＲｅｔｒｏ　Ｇ-Ｓｔｙｌｅの音楽。
その名の通り、ヒップホップとフォークの融合によって彼ら独自の音楽を作り出すことに成功していると思う。
一曲をストーリーと考えるならヴォーカリストＭａｓａｙａが切ない感情の部分を、

同じストーリーの別の面や聞き手へのメッセージをラップのＩＧＯＲが歌い上げているという感じ。
ＤＪ・ＳＥＧＡのヒップホップのビートがこれまた妙にマッチ。
ファンタジックな雰囲気がとても気に入りました。
何度聞いても全く飽きない。やみつきです。（笑）

やはり印象的なメロディーはＭー２「What's the answer?」。「明日君の詩を答えに書きそえて…」このメロディーがとても懐かしいような、どこかで聴いたようなメロディーではないかと思います。ガンガンラップするだけでない、こんなスタイルもなかなかいいですよ。

2004年に解散しちゃったけど、今でもこのアルバムはよく聴きます。
Retoroという名前の由来になった、どこか懐かしいメロディーが染みわたります。
MASAYAの声と何よりメロディーが爽やかです。

このアルバムは、ほんとに買ってよかったと思える一枚です。
どの曲も耳から入って頭にちゃんととどまってくれる感じ。
とっても聴きやすいアルバムなので、ラップを聴かない人にもおすすめしたい一枚です。

このアルバムに収録されている「終わりのメロディー」は、BENNIE Kが「Melody」って
曲でカバーしてたりします。
