グラフィックはポリゴンでもドット絵でもない上品なイラストタッチで仕上げられており、その絵がなめらかにアニメーションするさまは驚きだ。シリーズを通して特徴的な「連携」、「閃き」バトルシステムに加え、今作から目押しで決定していく「リール」システムが導入されている。実にスリリングなバトルを味わうことができるようになっている。移動画面もシンプルに洗練されていて、画面上で絵本の挿絵のようなグラフィックが次々と描き出されていく個性的なイベントの数々は必見に値する。（荒沢有希哉）
