時代を超越した、最高のスーパースターとはエルビスに他ならないことを、このアルバムが証明してみせた。既にビルボード等全米を始め、世界１７ヶ国以上でヒットチャートの初登場１位を記録しており、更に好調なセールスの持続が期待される。

本物のロックに対する認識を深めるためには何が必要とされるのか。それは恐ろしいまでに爆発的な「ハウンドドッグ」での叫びや、ガラス細工をそっと包むような「さらばふるさと」の歌唱などに隠されている。

かつて無い素晴らしい音質で甦った、この超ベストアルバム。真のロックアーチストを目指す者には、必要不可欠な極上の教材として、ポピュラーミュージックファンにはこれから永遠に繰り返して聴かれる、最も価値あるアルバムになるに違いない。

エルビスの半生を本で読んで興味を持っていました。歌は聴いたことがなかったので、初心者向けといわれるこのＣＤを聞いてみてよかったと思います。「これもエルビスの曲だったの？」というものがわりとあり、いろいろ発見がありました。これからももっとエルビスの曲を聴きたいと思います。

私はエルビスが活躍してる頃は全然知らなくて、大人になってTVとかで見る程度でした。でも何故か、声、曲などが好きでした。今回、初めてエルビスのCDを購入しました。いい曲ばかり入ってます♪　初心者にはお勧めです。特に最後のJXLのリミックスには、本当にビックリ！エルビスの曲が今風にアレンジされてます。今の音楽に凄くマッチして最高です。
