１９７６年リリースの四人囃子のセカンドアルバム・・・改めて今聴いてみると、この時代にこのようなサウンドを作り出していたのですから、本当驚きです！！帯タタキ引用：「２年間の沈黙を破り、ついに完成された四人囃子の新たなる世界。次々に万華鏡のように繰り広げられる位相の違った世界への４７分間のピクニック！」・・・アナログで購入した時は「なんの事でしょ？」と思いましたが（笑）、今回また読み返すと「その通り！！」なんて感じましたね。森園氏のボーカルはかなり線が細いのですが、それがまた魅力的ですし、バンドの演奏もかなり充実している素晴らしい内容です。４曲目「空と海の間」は個人的に大好きな曲で、末松氏のなんともいえない素朴な歌詞が味わい深いです・・・森園氏のギタ??がかっこいい１曲、途中別な曲になってしまうのがこのバンドらしい所。このアルバムの最大の聴きものは、アナログＢ面１曲目約１７分にわたる「泳ぐなネッシー」でしょう・・・プログレッシヴな嗜好がバリバリ炸裂している大作、めまぐるしい音の変化に酔いまくりです（笑）。続くラストを飾る「レディヴァイオレッタ」は美しいメロディラインを持つインストナンバーで名曲・・・森園氏のギターが絶品、今回のＣＤで音質がさらに良くなっています。この曲のシングルヴァージョンが今回収録されていて、嬉しかったですね・・・正直初めて聴きましたが、時間は勿論ギターアレンジが違っていて凄く新鮮でした！！中村真一から佐久間正英にベーシストがチェンジした事も、重要なアルバム・・・３曲目「なすのちゃ!わんやき」は中村氏の曲で、リコーダーを吹いているのが佐久間氏というのも感慨深いです（この曲何気ないけど、凄い！！）。アナログの良さを丁寧に再現した仕事振りに、拍手を送ります！！日本ロック史に残る大名盤！！！！

ベースが変わったとはいえ、デビューの「一触即発」よりも、ますます曲が素晴らしくなっている気がします。なんていうか、洗練さがより加わった感じ。プログレでもあり、フュージョンでもあるといえます。本当に、リアルタイムで聴いてないのを後悔しています。名曲揃いですが、とりわけ、「レディー　バイオレッタ」は超名曲。しかもアレンジの違うアルバムバージョンとシングルバージョンと両方聴けるのは、大歓迎。余談ですが、「日本のロックギタリスト　森園勝敏」では、ライブバージョンが聴け、それも必聴。傑作です。
