ＴＶでつんくが「あなたに」を歌ってるのを聞いて、どうしても玉置浩二の声で聴きたくなり、購入しました。
やはり名曲ですね。その他の曲も最近なりの良い意味で肩の力が抜けた歌い方が新鮮でした。
歌唱力は相変わらずなのでしょうが、あえてそれを強調しないでしっとりと歌ってることで楽曲の良さが改めて感じられます。アコースティックな感じなので夜に1人で聴くのがいいかも。

久しぶりにこんなCDに出会えた。すばらしい曲の数々。曲すべてがバラードで、玉置浩二の歌声がこころを静かに流れていく。全曲終わった頃にはとても心が癒される、そんな作品。手抜きの曲は1曲もない。特に一人で歌っている「夏の終わりのハーモニー」は新鮮。思わず井上陽水のパートを歌って玉置さんとハモってしまうことも可能。
ＣＤの最後に収められている「あの頃に」は、2年前のドラマ「忠臣蔵　決断の時」にも使われた歌で、冬に聞くとなんだか、切なく、けど、こころ温まる作品。

私もレコーディングにほんの少しだけ関わったこの作品は、単なるセルフカヴァーアルバムではありません。

「安全地帯」時代から年月を経た玉置さんが、辛いことも悲しいことも全て包み込むような愛と優しさを込めて唱っています。ギター、ピアノ、ストリングスを中心としたアレンジは、エレクトリックな楽器も使用されてはいますが、全体としてとてもアコースティックな瑞々しいサウンドに仕上がっています。竹内純さんによるストリングス・アレンジも素晴らしい！
