ＤＯＮＯＴＳはドイツ出身のポップパンク（メロディックパンク？）。多分同じジャンルに属するであろうＮＦＧやＭＩＤＴＯＷＮに比べるとパンク色が強い。けれど、全然ポップ、メロディック感はあるので聞きやすい。正統派の音で、ついつい体が動いてしまう^-^ドイツ出身ということで歌詞はドイツ語なのかと思いきや、英語でしかも発音もけっこううまくて聞き取りやすい。メロディックパンクが好きな人はぜひ買ってききまくるべき一枚だと思う。おすすめは１曲目と２曲目。でも他のもいい。捨て曲なし。

初めてこのCDを聞いたとき、「これだ！」って思いました。一度CDを聞くと、自然とメロディーが耳に残り、クセになってしまいます。以前からMESTやブリンク182、SUM41等は好きでしたが、DONOTSを聞いてからは、こっちの方が好きになってしまいました（もちろんMESTとかも大好きだけど）。全体的な曲の感じは、パンクとロックをちょうどよく融合させた感じです。聞いていて重すぎも、軽すぎもせず、皆さんが初めて聞いても、すんなりと受け入れられると思います。是非一度聞いてみてください。

今までドイツのパンクバンドを聞いたことがなかったけど、とってもよかった！数あるパンクバンドの中でもキャッチー性でいえば、かなり上位だと思う。
なにせ最初から最後まで、耳に残る曲が多々！イントロ聞くだけで、もう覚えてしまったりする。
オススメは１６番である。ライブバージョンの音源で、初めて聴いたときは鳥肌がたったもんだ。

アメリカデビューの準備もしている彼ら。このまま突っ走って飛んで行って欲しい。頑張れDONOTS!
