全体の雰囲気は「寒い夜に暖かい部屋でゆったりと」聞きたい１枚、でしょうか。
竹善さんの歌の魅力は、嫌味なくすんなり耳に入ってくるところ。
それはハリ・ツヤばっちりのハイトーンなのにぬくもりがあって、情感に溢れつつもウェットになりすぎない声質によるところが大きいと思うのですが、年々表現に深みが増しているのを感じます。

シングルにもなった「生まれ来る子供たちのために」など、いまだからこそこの歌を、という気持ちが伝わってきます。

一番のお気に入りは唯一（ボーナストラックを除く）のライヴテイクである「Hotel California」。
「ジプシーキングス風に」という竹善さんのセンスにも脱帽ですが、気合一発！な感じの歌も演奏も心底やられたという感じ。

せっかくですから「The Christmas Song」はぴったりの季節に聞きたいもの。
この１曲だけでもアルバムを手にする価値はあると思うし、全部を聞けば、様々な曲を「歌いこなす」以上のものにしている佐藤竹善という歌い手の素晴らしさが、きっとわかっていただけるでしょう。

7年前の「CONERSTONES」から待つこと7年。
ただのカバーアルバムじゃないところが
竹善さんのすごいところ。
彼なりのアレンジを加えつつ、原曲のよさも十二分に生かされていると思います。
それもこれも、本当に音楽を愛する竹善さんならではの
なせる業でしょう。

SLTのファンだけでなく、一人でも多くの音楽ファンに聴いてほしいです。ボーナストラックの「Spain」は圧巻！お早めにどうぞ。

竹善ファンはもちろん "買い" ですが
そうでない人も、彼の「声」が嫌いでない人にはおすすめできますね。

洋楽にあまりくわしくない私でも
2/3以上はどっかで聞いたことのある曲ばかり。
素直に耳に入ってきます。
「Chenge The World」や
ジプシーキングス風(!?)「ホテル カルフォルニア」などなど
バラエティな「音」で飽きずに長く聴けそうな1枚です。
