レビューと言うよりも、情報提供と行くことにする。

アルバムtitleにもなっている『Secret Garden』という曲だが、GIZA Studioから2001年にデビューした長谷実果（はせみか）が、UKレーベルからデビューした時のtitle曲（こちらも英語詞）である。長谷実果は同年にシングル3曲を出して以降の活動が停止されており、この曲も封じられることになると思われていたが、このような形で日の目を見ることになった。是非、長谷バージョンも聴いて欲しいと記載したい所であるが、同シングルを手に入れるのは苦労するのでお勧めはしない。この事実のみを知ってもらえればそれで充分である。

また、今作には二人、ゲスト・ボーカルが参加している。倉木麻衣と愛内里菜である。ヒットチャート上位ランカーが二人もゲストとして参加しているという事実だけを取っても聴く価値ありと思う。

メロディーは言うことなし､全歌詞が英語と言うのもまた魅力的。ただいまひとつバックの音が満足できなかった。

　Reach for the sky
作詞：倉木麻衣 / 作曲：大野愛果、TVの主題歌にもなったので知っている方も多いはず。
麻衣ちゃんの曲では、なんとなく哀しげな決意が昇華していくような詠いでした。
　愛果さんのReach for the skyは、不思議な童謡のように感じられます。
そんな英語曲がたくさん入っていて、不思議発見のような感覚になれます。
　いろいろな楽しみ方ができる愛果さんの曲集。
麻衣ちゃんや里菜ちゃんとのコラボが形に、音になっている素敵な一枚。

やっぱり倉木麻衣への提供曲が大半を占めているんですな、もうちょっとマイナーな選曲をしてもイケテル様な勢いがあると感じました。
