力をいれずに簡単に缶があけられます。女性の手にも馴染みやすいグリップで安心して使えます。汚れてもサッと水洗いして乾かしておけば錆つきませんし、とても重宝しています。海外のほかのメーカーの物より割安ですし、お勧めの一品です。

この缶オープナーは、缶の蓋の部分の周りを切ることで
あける機構になっています。

缶の上の部分のでっぱっている部分をはさんでハンドルを
回すと、缶も回りながら、蓋の周りの部分に切り込みを
入れているようで、1回転すると、ハンドルが軽くなります。
（といってもハンドル回すのにすごく力がいるわけではありません）
切り込みの部分にちょっと爪を引っ掛けると軽く外れます。

旧来の缶きりと比べると、格段に手間が要らないのです。
また切り口も手を切るような危ない形になることもないので、
非常に安全だと思います。
