「洒落た」音楽の見本みたいな作品。イギリスっぽいし好きですね。こういうのはアメリカから出ない。断言できます。

これを聴かずしてブリティッシュロックを語るなかれ！泣けます。
センチメンタルとはこの音盤の為にある言葉です。
きっとお墓まで持っていってあの世でもたまに聴くと思います。
のっけのマンデイブルーソングから鳥肌もんですぞ。

　学生時代，所謂AORというものが大嫌いだった私ですが，何故かMark-Almondだけは当時から好きだったんですよね。なんというか，彼等のサウンドからは凡庸のAORには決してない品が感じられたのです。このアルバムは彼等のCBS移籍後第１弾のアルバムであり，そして私が初めて買った彼等のアルバムでもあります。収録されているのはDannie Richmondのドラムをフィーチャーした『Riding Free』を除いては所謂アンプラグドな曲ばかりなのですが,メロディーの類い希なる美しさと，アレンジの素晴らしさ故，聴いていて少しもだれることはありません。
