つい何年か前のこと，ふとブリザードが聞きたくなった。
しかし，CDは全て廃盤とのこと。願いは叶わぬまま時間が過ぎていった。

そして昨年，復刻盤が発売された。
当時一般に知られているバンドではなかったと思う。
信じられない。名曲「SHOW ME THE WAY」をまた聴くことができたのだ。
多くのファンの署名が実ったカタチだという。

私は署名活動に参加したわけではないが，
願いが叶ったことは本当に感動すら覚える。

80年代の終わり，美形かつテクニックを持ち合わせたハードロックバンド
ブリザードが残した曲が，再び多くの人の耳に届くことを願う。

初期4タイトルとはがらりと雰囲気が変わって、CBSソニーからリリースされた後期のベスト集。ブリザードはハードロックという手法で激しくも、哀しく美しい旋律を奏でる稀有な存在のバンドでした。活動停止から随分時間も経ち、オリジナルは廃盤ながらこうしてファンの熱い要望によりベスト盤が出たということは、ずっとずっと人々の心に彼らのメロディが流れていた証ではないでしょうか。名曲は、どんなに時が経っても色褪せることはないのです。

当時 ルックスだけだとか賛否両論意見はありましたが、楽曲はもちろん個々のテクニックもかなり高かったと思いますし、自分は好きなバンドの一つでした!当然、ブリザードの音源は全て持ってましたが事情があり売ってしまい…
っがしかし、こうしてベスト版で再発されて即ゲットしました!
ワーナー時代の方が個人的には好みですが、こちらはこちらなりの良さがあるので◎
星4つにしたのはボーカルが下村成二郎の曲のみが良かったので!ブリザード=下村成二郎と自分は思っているし、後任のボーカルは声の質が好きではない!当時聴いた時、西城秀樹かと??
やっぱりハイトーンボイスの方が◎ビジュアル的にも成二郎のが◎
