2作目『NEW WORLD』と3作目『DEEP FOREST』、そしてベスト盤『DO THE BEST』を立て続けにチャート1位に送り込んできたDo As Infinity。待望のスタジオ・アルバム4作目は、これまでに積み重ねてきた巧みさと力強さがそのまま反映されている。京胡に呉汝俊(ウー・ルーチン)がゲスト参加した「真実の詩」は、深遠な雰囲気を持つ楽曲自体も上質な仕上がりだが、すでにシングル・リリースの際にアルバムにおいて核となる曲であることも明かされていた。“TRUE SONG”というタイトルに象徴されるが、その意味は冒頭に配置された「空想旅団」をはじめとする歌詞の端々から、表現者としての新たな一歩という解釈で見出せる。幅広い音楽性を見せるロック/ポップ・チューンにおいて、伴都美子(vo)がこれまで以上に自身の存在感を発しているのは大きな聴きどころだろう。99年にスタートした彼らが、今を俯瞰しながら将来に向けて積極的に進んでいこうとする意欲を表わした作風だ。 (土屋京輔) --- 2003年01月号

伴ちゃん（Vo）の声がすごく素敵です。ハスキーでこんないい声の人はあまりいないでしょう。最高です☆
私は『空想旅団』という曲を聞いて心打たれました。声質、歌唱力、詩がとても魅力的で何度聞いても『いい曲だな』と実感します。

このアルバムを買ってからDoAsInfinityのCDを新しいのも古いのもほとんど買ってしまいました☆☆☆まだ聞いていない人は早く聞いたほうがいいですよ。オススメです。

今までのオリジナルアルバムはアルバムタイトルの曲を主題として最初に持ってきていたが、この作品は異なる。
このアルバムは全ての曲が"TRUE SONG"であり、それぞれに｢真実とは？｣と自分自身にもそして聞いている人にも問いかけているように思う。その核にあるのが"真実の詩"という楽曲である。

D･A･Iといえば、アコギが印象的で、そして世界を広げていく楽曲が多いのだが、この作品は、胡弓の一種である京胡を用いたり、オーケストラを用いたりと珍しくも美しい作風に仕上がっている。
｢空想旅団｣｢真実の詩｣は壮大でかつ"infinity"の要素を含んでいると思う。

このアルバム素直にイイです。一曲目から壮大なスケール感いっぱいの楽曲にワクワクさせられました。特に中盤から後半にかけての楽曲郡が最高ー♪すごくBAND感を感じる作品で今までの中で一番好きです。ライブ音源は要らないかなと思ったけど（笑）
