   アニメや恋愛シミュレーションゲームで人気の「kanon（カノン）」オリジナルサウンドトラック。

 「kanon」は、親せきの家に居候（いそうろう）することになった主人公の男の子が、謎の少女「月宮あゆ」や従姉妹の「水瀬名雪」、記憶喪失の少女「沢渡真琴」、下級生の「美坂栞」、異界の敵と戦う上級生「川澄舞」など複数の女の子と出会い、恋愛に発展させていくというストーリー。それぞれの少女の抱える問題や背景は複雑で、主人公はそんな彼女たちを理解していこうとする。単純な恋愛ものでなくサスペンス的な要素も含まれるのが人気の秘密だ。

   本CDにはゲーム中に使用された「朝影」、「笑顔の向こう側に」、「彼女達の見解」「雪の少女」、「風を待った日」など、BGM全22曲を収録。ボーカル曲「Last regrets」、「風の辿り着く場所」は、2曲のフルコーラスバージョンを収録、合計で24曲が収録されているファン必聴のアルバムだ。各曲解説、ボーカル曲メロディ譜付。（三井貴美子）

このKanonという作品をプレイしたことのある人なら知らぬうちに涙の出る音楽がこのCDにはたくさんつまっています。「約束」や「冬の花火」など、聞いているだけであの冬の奇跡が蘇ります。

まだKanonをプレイしたことのない人も京アニさんの手でリメイクされたアニメが放送されていてそれをみてKanonを知っていると思います。あの作品で流れている曲も、今回リメイクされた曲の原曲も収録されており、key soundの素晴らしさ、すごさを知るにはAIRのサントラと並んで十分すぎるCDになっています。


key soundの奏でる聞くだけで体に浸透してくるこの音楽に耳を傾けてみてはいかがでしょう?

このCDからKanonをプレイすることにつながれば幸いです。

このサウンドトラックはゲームをやったことない人でも楽しめるCDだと思います。聞いていてかなり落ち着く曲がほとんどです。昔、「feel」とか「image」という癒し系アルバムが出ていましたがそれと同じに考えていいと思います。お仕事、学校など疲れた後にどうぞ★

名作というものは本当の意味での表には出ないものです。
この作品も有名とはいえ、一部の人の間でしか有名ではありません。

最近の歌謡曲等よりゲーム音楽の方が曲としてはレベルが上だと私は思っています。
このCDはゲームをプレイせずに買いましたが、とても素晴らしかった。

オーケストラ等で演奏されたら本当に素晴らしい演奏になると思うのですが
そういう機会が無いのが非常に残念です。
