みうらじゅん監修に期待し、解説付きなのはとても良かったが、逆にまじめにやりすぎてしまった気がする。昔の字幕の方が面白かったと思うシーンがいくつかあった。しかし、DVD化は素直にうれしい!アルマゲドンを軽く超える超大作の予告編(この映画のファンならアルマゲドンと聞いてまっさきにこれが思い浮かんだはず)は必見?!

あたしがこの映画を見たのは夜中なんとなくTVをつけて
やっていたのが最初でした。たんたんと続いてゆくショート・フィルム。
「一体なんな
んだろう？」とわけわからんしチンプンカンプン。
しかし見終わった後もこの映画のことが忘れられず、それからまた何回か
繰り返し見たところ…やっぱりチンプンカンプン。

内容はとうてい理解できずただただヒマな時に見ると
とっても楽しくなります。そんな映画です。
親に隠れて見たい気分になります！！

この映画、相当この時代のアメリカの文化に精通していないと
笑う所を逃してしまうんですよ。
ところがこのDVDはチャプターごとに解説が付いています。
みうらじゅん監修の！親切ですねぇ~
当時のアメリカを知らない私達にとってはバックグラウンドを知るとことでより一層笑いがまします。

パロディやブラックユーモア満載ですが、

なにも考えなくても、何も知らなくても笑えるネタもあります。

所がこの手のお笑いが好きじゃない人が見るとさっぱり笑えないし
アメリカンジョーク苦手と感じるかもしれないですね。

おバカなんだけど、どこかポリティカル。
見れば見るほど面白い。
そんな映画です。
見る価値はあります！
