前作のファーストではおバカ丸出しでなりふりかまわずすき放題やっているという感じのパンクだったが
このセカンドでの音楽は前作のようながむしゃらさがなくなってしまっているような気がする　音が整って聞こえるのだ　大人になったというかなんというか･･･
音楽自体はヘヴィロックに近くなったが基本はやっぱりパンク

今までもへヴィメタルなどの影響を見せてきてはいたがやっぱり何でもかんでもがむしゃらにやっていたときのほうがかっこよかったと思う

もちろんハードロック系が好きな人には薦められるが前作のようなおばかパンクを期待してる人には薦めがたい

正統的な進化です．彼らは00年代を代表するロックバンドになるかも
しれない，と思いました．大袈裟かな．この進化は「歴史は繰返す」と
いうことと「彼らはパンクバンドを超越した」ことを暗に示します．
以下，今回の進化について大きく3点，
1　リフの過激なるスラッシュ化　
2　パロディ的に混入する80年代英米メタル(特にMetallica, と
　　Iron Maiden)音の顕著化．まぁこれは，前作の歌詞でも公言
　　していたことだし進化の方向として十分頷けます．
3　これまでのラップ的な部分がうまい具合に「絶叫」に置き換わっている．
彼らが本当にやりたいのはこういう方向なんだろうと勝手に思って
います．特に"Mr．Amsterdam"という曲．これはあからさまにメタリカ．

そこまでメタリカかよ．です．古いファンを楽しませるために
わざわざ8曲目あたりに目の醒めるようなパロディを企画して
くれた彼らの比喩的センスに北叟笑みが止まりません．
勿論パンク人用に，Green day っぽい曲も一応もありますよ．

sum41,最高！初めて買ったけどどっぷりはまってます！
洋楽初心者にもおすすめします！
ギターのりフなんかメタルぽいとこあるし、
聞いてて楽しいっす！
