現在、私は３６歳ですが、２０歳ぐらいのときは、「アイドル」など
馬鹿にして聞いたことがありませんでした。
しかし、ネットで、たまたま動画の「ＴＡＴＯＯ」を落とし、こりゃすごい歌唱力だな。と思ったのが購入のきっかけです。オリジナルに色っぽいしね。

しかしこのＣＤを聞いて非常に驚いた。本場のサルサに引けを取らないデラルスのアレンジ・デューク・エリントン調に猥雑でクールなホーンセクション・ジョアン・ジルベルトに聞かせたいほどのボサノバアレンジ（しかもデビュー曲「スローモーション」で）。最近和田アキコの初期がＲ＆Ｂとして評価され、再発されていますが、それをはるかにしのぐ歌心とアレンジです。
５０年代ＪＡＺＺ風に比喩れば、最高のハードバップミュージシャンにかこまれた、ジュディ・ガーランド？いやカルメン・ミランダ？いやエラ・フィッジェラルド？いや明菜は明菜ということでしょう。

音楽好きな人はたまらない作品といえるでしょう。やはりなにより音楽は歌心です。

才能豊かな明菜に必要なのは、バックアップする頭脳・アレンジ・ミュージシャンです。

まだまだいける。私は同世代として注目し続けます。しかし同世代の感傷と心中しないようにも同時に望みます。つねに現在であり続けてください

ビックバンドに、サルサ、タンゴにボサノヴァ。二十周年を締めくくるにふさわしいゴージャスなセルフカバー集。ビックバンドのホーンの歯切れもここちいい「TATOO」を聞いて、久々に明菜らしい歌唱が聞こえてきて嬉しくなった。「北ウイング」もまたしかり。陽気なラテンのフレーバーが主かと思えば「水に挿した花」などをしっとりときめたり、そういう「らしさ」みたいなものはやはり変わらない。リベンジとも取れる「駅」の再演なども聞き所でしょう。スイングしまくる「飾りじゃないのよ涙は」、ほてりを癒すようなラストの「スローモーション」はボサノヴァ調のアダルトな雰囲気で、これがデビュー曲かと思うと感慨もひとしお。

1曲目のTATOOがやけに色っぽく、エロティックに聞こえました。
久しぶりに中森明菜のCDを買ったけど、また一段と魅力が増しています。
もともと歌がうまい人だから、もっともっと評価されてもいいと思います。

最近のわけわかんね~歌なんかよりも、これぞ正統派！！って感じの落着き
さと、うまさとノリと魅力がいっぱい詰まった一枚だと思います。
