Album Details

Legendary duo Los Compadres, formed in 1942 and fronted by Francisco Repilado (Compay Segundo) and Lorenzo Hierrezuelo (Compay Primo) . As Hierrezuelo was the lead vocalist he became known as Compay Primo ("first friend"), while Repilado sang bass harmonies and gained the nickname Compay Segundo ("second friend").

5.0 out of 5 stars キューバ音楽の巨人が書いた日本の物売り歌（プレゴーン）, 2005/2/6
ロス・コンパドレスは、トリオ・マタモロスに次ぐキューバ音楽の偉大なヴォーカル・グループ。ロレンソ・イエレスェーロは、1955年にいとこのコンパイ・セグンドが脱退すると、19歳年下の実弟レイナルドを相方とした。この歌「ボニアード・アサード」のオリジナルは、74年末から75年にかけてかれらが東京赤坂のレストランに長期出演したおりに、耳にした石焼きイモ屋の売り声がキューバのスタンダード「南京豆売り」とソックリなのに感銘して、帰国後、吹き込んだもの。

おもしろいことに、戦前、「南京豆売り（ピーナッツ・ベンダー）」が米国経由で日本に入ってきたとき、エノケンやあきれたぼーいずはこの歌に日本の物売りを重ねている。だから、キューバ音楽の伝統をしっかりと受け継いだかれらがこの歌を作ったのは必然だったように思われてならない。進駐軍の兵士が作り美空ひばりの歌で知られる「チャルメラそば屋」と並ぶ名作といえる。

ちなみに、本盤には「オリジナル・ヴァージョン」と称するテイクも収録されているが、録音が良すぎるし、お兄ちゃん（故人）のあの印象的な声が聞こえてこないぞ。

なによりもすごいのは、この知られざる名曲が「ポンキッキーズ21」に採用されたということ。このひと、相当のマニアです。残念ながらブレイクしなかったけど、わが家の子どもたちには大受けです。

　スゴイですよ！私はこの曲をラジオで初めて聞きました。
　そしてなんとも言えない、暖かさに包まれました。
　本当に焼き芋が食べたくなる！
　本当に心が温まる！！
　本当に笑える！！（笑ってしまう！！）
　素晴らしい楽曲です。

歌っているロス・コンパドレスはデュオグループでその昔来日したことがありその時本当に東京のやきいも売りにインスパイアされ、この曲を作った。76年のアルバムに収録されたらしい。ポンキッキの為に作ったのではないそうだ。ちなみにコンパイ・セグンドは元メンバー
