遂に出た！レコード会社の枠を超えて憂歌団の本当のベスト版が出た。今までレコード会社毎（つまりは年代毎）に勝手に出ていて、彼らほどベスト版が多いアーティストもいないのではないかと思っていたが、総括版登場。「嫌になった」が収録されているCDは4-5枚は持っていると言う方にもお薦め。私が初めて憂歌団を聴いたのはCMに使われていた｢2-7｣だったことを思い出した。当時は故景山民夫（憂歌団の熱烈なファンだった）のプッシュでタモリ倶楽部にも出演したころだった。TVで初めて見た木村秀勝は少し変わった人、というか「生聞59分」の中のキムラくんそのものだった。1990年代中盤になって初めて彼らのコンサートを見に行ったが、「アホー言うたヤツがアホじゃー」とまったく「生聞59分」そのままだった。そんな点も解散理由の一つだったらしい。彼らの解散から暫く経つが、新作がないのかと思うとやはり残念。厳しい時代だからこそ、酒でも飲みながら彼らの歌を聴いて時にしんみり、そして最後には元気を取り戻そうでないか！？

非常に多くのアルバムがあり、まず何を？と考えると、このベストが分かりやすくて良いと思う。
コアなファンは初期の頃を懐かしく思うし、あまり知らない人には憂歌団を知ってもらうには絶好のアルバムです。
おそうじオバチャンやパチンコ・ランラン・ブルースのような曲だけが憂歌団ではなく、日本のＢＬＵＥＳを支える彼らの魂を聴いてもらいたい。
私の不満はMidnight Drinkerがカラオケにないことか・・・・？

　「日本人にはブルースは無理だ」とおっしゃるブルースオタク（評論家とか作家の方に多いんですよね）を吹き飛ばす「ザ・ブルースバンド・憂歌団」のベスト盤です。最高です。音楽は理屈じゃないことを再認識できます。ありがたい限りです。

　売れ筋のしょーもないアーティストのヨイショばかりしてる評論家の方々。聞きなさい、このアルバムを。音楽は「ノリと心意気だ！」ということが、よーくわかりますよ。
