「音楽は、自分の思いを表現する手段だ」という創作家としての基本的な理念を、ここまで明確に具体化している人は少ない。家族について、日々の生活について、日本の国について、結婚について、何でも自分の感じたこと思うことを、自由に歌にして表現することの素晴らしさを、彼は教えてくれる。
　

　これだけ内容の濃い詞を、二十歳そこそこの若者が書いたとは、とても信じられない。テレビをつければ頻繁に耳にする「自分だけのストーリー」などと言う言葉に、象徴されるワンパターンで、没個性的な歌に、私は、うんざりしている。きっと泉谷氏も「てめぇーら、もっと他に歌にするこたぁ、ねぇーのかよぉーっ」と思っているのに違いない。

　名曲ばかりなのだが私的には、「Ｄのロック」が特に好きだ。
詞と曲、アレンジ、唱法、彼のキャラ、それら全部が見事にマッチしたこの曲の迫力は圧巻だ。
