5.0 out of 5 stars スピルバーグのハチャメチャ戦争コメディー, 2005/2/8
スピルバーグといえば、『Ｅ・Ｔ』のようなSFから『プライベート・ライアン』まで、幅広いジャンルを手掛けてますが、コメディーって云うと『え？』ですよね？この映画は古いけど、笑かしてくれますよ！徹底的に『戦争』をおちょくった内容で、あの『シンドラーズ・リスト』を撮った監督と同一人物の映画とは思えない、しかも名優（迷優？）揃いのキャスティングで、ダン・エクロイド（ブルース・ブラザーズ）や、三船敏郎なんかが出てたりします。さて、音楽は『スターウォーズ』で超有名なＪ・ウィリアムスと来れば、まず期待を裏切ることはありません。あんなにシンフォニックなスコアを書く人が、実はこんなコメディーのスコアを書いてしまう辺りに驚く方も居ると思いますが、よくできてます。演奏もロンドン交響楽団ですから、パリッと糊の効いた演奏です。多分どこかしらで耳にしたことはあるはずですよ…エンドクレジットのトラックでは、最後の辺りに『ワイルド・ビル・ケルソー』こと、Ｊ・ベルーシの貴重な？雄叫びが…サントラでもオチをつけてくれる茶目っ気アリアリの１枚です。
