かなり人を選ぶゲーム・・・というか、普通に「楽しむ」タイプのゲームではありません。いわゆるゲーム、ではなく、ゲーム形式の作品、といった感じでしょうか。
プレイ前は「登場人物の顔は犬。宇宙飛行士のゲーム」という情報だけだったので、「ちょっとファンタジックかつ近未来風のRPG」だと思い込んでいましたが、全然違いました・・・。

舞台は宇宙。

操作性はよくありませんが、形式はRPG,戦闘はごくごく単純なアクションなので心配することはありません。
ストーリー自体は「３つの人格を持つ主人公が、昔の失った記憶を取り戻して・・・」という内容なのですが、実際プレイしてみると、ミステリー風の展開で登場人物はサイコな感じ。

話の内容も、ゲームの雰囲気も、全体的に暗くて不思議でつかみ所が無い感じでした。

サスペンス、精神崩壊、壊れた人格、人間の内面、などといった単語にピンと来る人にはお勧めです。
ゾクゾクとする感動、あえてはっきりしない余韻のあるラストを味わいたい、雰囲気重視の人へ。

人を選ぶゲームというのは間違いありません。
ただツボに入る人にはたまらないと思います。
そこかしこに漂う妖しさ、不気味さ。
ただいかんせん5年も前の作品なので、ビジュアル的なものも含めて星4つです。
個人的には大好きなゲームです。

私の中での「センスのいいゲーム」ベスト3に入るであろう「九龍風水博（クーロンズゲート）」を作った是空というグループの２作目。

　犬の顔をした地球人の宇宙飛行士が、流刑の地となっていた火星を探索に行き、そこで自分の心と対面するといった感じのゲームです。ＲＰＧとは言い難いのですが一応ＲＰＧだそうです。

　クーロンズゲートのときのあやしさ、ダークさ、わけわかんなさはある程度引き継いでいる気がします。でもまぁ、ディスクの枚数も違うので比べちゃかわいそうですが、クーロンにはもちろん及びませんでした。なんというか、いろんなことが中途半端なまま終了してしまうのが物足りない。主人公のライカに関して言えば中途半端ではないのかもしれないけど、彼の仲間のクルーや火星の人たち、火星の謎なんかは、どうも放置されたという印象。プレイ時間も10時間かからないで終わっちゃうしね。短いですよね。
