ステージでもよく歌われる「Over The Rainbow」が絶品ですね。
冒頭の自作のバースがまたいいですね。自制的な独り言が、雰囲気を醸し出し、印象的な出だしを持っています。
その後の弾き語りによる絶唱は、素晴らしい、の一言しか思い浮かびません。ただただ、聞き惚れてしまいますね。

「Yozora　no　mukou」の弾き語りもいいですね。
原曲の姿をとどめていませんが、とても雰囲気のある歌唱です。ピアノがまた饒舌です。これほど歌とピアノが一体となってメッセージを伝えれば、聴く方がグッとくるのは当然でしょう。

ほかの収録曲もそうなのですが、綾戸智絵にスロー・バラードを歌わせたら天下一品ですね。オリジナル曲とは全く雰囲気の違う仕上がりの「アヤド節」がオススメです。

「悲しみのジェット・プレーン」も大好きです。最愛の恋人と別れを惜しみながら、ジェット機に乗って飛び立っていくという歌です。アヤドの切々とした歌声が原曲を上回る感動をもたらしてくれます。

どの曲もそうですが、アヤドの生き様や人生がブルースそのものですので、その内面から出てくる「ジャズの魂」は、他の日本人アーティストにはないものがありますね、本当に。

綾戸さんの歌声には前から興味があったのですが、ＣＤを買ったことはありませんでした。ベストが出たのを知ってから、購入したいなあとムクムクときもちがもりあがってきて、思い切ってかったのですが、、、「なぜもっと早くかわなかったんだろう！」という気持ちです。おすすめの曲は、１曲目：Over the Rainbow、３曲目：Tennessee Waltz、８曲目：Moon River、９曲目の：Leaving On A Jet Planeは最高！！！最後の曲は、You Are So Beautifulで、胸にしみます、、、。個人的には９曲目がとても気に入りました。リピートして何回でも聴いてしまった！

智恵さん入門編として「ＢＥＳＴ」購入したのですが、
歌声とピアノが体中にしみこんでいく感じを初めて体験しました。
智恵さんが言っておられた「音楽は毛穴で聞いて」というのは、
こんな感覚なんですね。

また、日常起こる嬉しい事、苦しい事、辛い事など無駄な事は
一つもなく、すべてが私達の身体を作り、毎日を支えてくれていると

智恵さんを拝見していて思いました。

壁にぶつかった時、心穏やかな時、いつでも何度でも聞きたいＣＤに
出会えて嬉しいです。
