個人的に、リミックスと聞くとちょっとした嫌悪感を覚える。だって、あまりにも原曲の良さが消されてしまっているリミックスものが多いのだもの。“そうじゃない!”って、何度思ったことか。そう、リミックスで一番大切なのが、原曲をどう活かすかということ。そのままじゃ面白くないけど、だからといって違和感があっても困る。それを考えると、このリミックス・アルバムはかなり納得のいく作品。リミックスという域を超え、外部アーティストとのコラボレーション作品としても、楽しむことができる。新曲として味わうもよし。 (江藤麻由) --- 2002年12月号
