このアルバムは過去に何度もＣＤで再発していたが、何故か、１、２、９曲目がリミックスバージョンでアナログ盤時代の持ち味を台無しにしていた。しかし今回（９９年発売のこのＣＤ）はオリジナルマスターからのデジタルリマスタリングで音質も向上し、オリジナルの音源の編集そのままで発売されたので、これまで不満を持っていた昔からのファンにとってはうれしいアイテムだろう。この事実をまだ知らないファンの人ぜひ聴きくらべてみてはいかがだろうか。

８０年代日本のメタシーンをLOUDNESSと共に牽引したバンドの1st。メロディの質では未だこのバンドを超える日本のハードロックバンドは出ていないと思います。ヴィブラートを聞かせて親しみ深いメロディを歌い上げるマーシーのすさまじいヴォーカルや、シャラのテクではなく美旋律で勝負するギターはこのときから既に壮絶。特に4のギターソロは、棺桶まで連れて行きたいほど素晴らしい出来です。今回のデジタルリマスターで全然音がよくなっているので既に持っている人も買いなおしてもいいと思います。5はあのアイアンメイデンのエイドリアンスミスがプレゼントした曲。

東芝EMI在籍時に出されたアルバムには1曲目の「ラジオマジック」は入っていないが、この曲が加わることによりベスト感がさらに高まった感じ。シングルカットされた曲から、アルバムには入っていなかった曲まであり、聴きごたえは充分。曲へのアプローチの仕方がさまざまだったこの時期のアルバムからの選曲なので、いろんなシェイカーの表情が見えると思います。
