「君はまだ見えない人を探していたんだね・・・」そんな一言から始まる名曲「季節」をはじめ、「天気図」などキラキラと光る作品が詰まったアルバムです。ヒットチャートを賑わすことはないかも知れないけど、気に入った人はきっと何十年後も口ずさむはず。歌詞は、高橋幸宏や鈴木慶一にもつながる、弱弱しさの中に光る強さや絶望感はあるけれど希望も捨てていない、そんな印象。メロディーは、ダブのリズムに合わせ、漂う様に流れていきます。雪解けの知らせや日曜日の朝日と共に聞きたい一枚です。ずいぶん抽象的なレビューになってしまいましたが、「季節」はもっと多くの人のフェイバリットソングに加えてもらいたい一曲です。

曲がどれも長くて最初はビックリしましたが、
実際聞いてみるとそんな長くは感じず、
心地よい気持ちを味わってるうちにまた次の曲へ、
というような感じでした。

とっても幸せな気持ちで満たされます・・。
この人の音楽を聞いていると、
世界を闇とみるのか、光とみるのか、
それは自分自身だという事を気付かせてくれた
アルバムです。

そしてベースラインの正確さにはビックリしました、
最初打ち込みかと思ってました。
ボーカルの包み込むような歌声もとっても素敵です。

~漂うような心地よいサウンドに身をゆだねると、あまりの気持ちよさに言葉が入っているのを忘れてしまいます。そのまま聴いていると突然飛び込んでくる破壊力のある言葉があることにハッとさせられます。

引き込まれたり、そうかと思えば存在を感じさせない、そんな言葉使いが意図的なのかたまたまなのかは分かりませんが、詞がこれからどっちに向かうのかがこのバンドの鍵を握っている気がしました。~

初めて「光と影」をプロモで見たときからその世界にはまってしまいました。あなたもこの曲をヘッドフォンで大音量で聞きながらベッドの中で漂い、まどろんでみて下さい。
