   GAMEBOY ADVANCE版『ハリー・ポッターと秘密の部屋』は、プレイヤーがハリー・ポッターとなって、ホグワーツを探索し、原作に沿ったストーリーを楽しめる。また、オリジナルゲームを収録。「禁じられた森」、「ダイアゴン横丁」、「グリンゴッツ銀行」など、「ハリー・ポッターと秘密の部屋」に登場する場所を忠実に再現。

   前作のGBA版をはるかにしのぐ数の呪文を収録。「かぼちゃパイ」や「蛙チョコレート」をはじめ、さまざまな魔法のアイテムが入手できるほか、魔法使いのカードを集めてコレクションできる点もポイント。また、GBA版とGAMECUBE版両方を購入したユーザーは、別売の『ゲームキューブ用GBAケーブル』を利用することで、新しいステージや隠れキャラクターを楽しむことができる。（山本幸一）

前回の「ハリー・ポッターと賢者の石」の時より、格段に画像は綺麗になりました。見やすくもなっているし、ホグワーツ魔法魔術学校内などもいたってシンプルになっており、ゲームとしては前回より遊びやすくなっていると思います。ただ、呪文の収得やビーンズ集めなどが一筋縄ではいかない部分もあり、苦労させられました。ゲームを進めて行く上での注意点が所々で指示され親切な作りにはなっていますが、それ以外の所では大変な思いをしました。それから、セーブポイントが決められており途中でセーブできない事、セーブデータが一つしか作れない事なども引っかかる点です。ただPS2版、PS版、GBA版と遊んできましたが、一番GBA版が原作のストーリーに添っていたような気がします。

前作は全体的に画面が暗く、見にくかったのですが、今回のは明るさが調節できて、良いと思います。クィディッチは、前作のは簡単で、少し飽きてきていたのですが、今回のは結構面白いです。練習も出来てやる気が起きます。でも、ゲームキューブを持ってリンクしなくちゃいけない所があると、持っていない人にはちょっと悲しいです。でも、ビーンズ集めも楽しいし、猫好きの私はミセス・ノリスがかわいくてたまりません。本当に買ってよかったです☆
