この曲で柴田淳さんを知ったのですが、初めてこの声と彼女のピアノを聴いた瞬間、久しぶりに素敵な女性シンガーに出会えたなぁと、興奮しました。ジャケット写真からは想像できなかった低音ボイスと、柔らかいピアノが、これからの季節ぴったりです。アルバムも聴いてみたのですが、どれも「切ない乙女心」を切々と歌っていて、片思いや辛い恋をしている女性にとっては、涙物だと思います。是非、是非聴いてみて下さい。絶対お薦め！しばじゅんの優しいピアノの音色がじーんと染み込んできますよ！

素直に心に響く自然なそして包み込むような歌声で、誰もが経験する恋愛の悲しく、そして困難な出来事に直面した時の女性の思いを歌詞にして、しっとりとした曲にのせて歌っています。

揺れ動く思いを込めた歌詞をひとつひとつしっかりと噛み締めて聞くと、自分の経験と重なる部分が思い出され共感し、涙が溢れる女性の方も多いのではないでしょうか？

前作『月光浴』は、ライブの最後に歌う曲でファンの要望でシングル化されたものだった。その時点において、彼女自身が最も自信のあると考えていた曲を表に出したことで、どのようなものを出してくるかということを密かに期待していた。

Title曲は、アレンジャーの力であろうか、随所にバイオリンなどの弦楽器が雰囲気を盛り上げており、スケールの大きなものに仕上がっている。ただ、この曲の良さは、柴田淳の声や歌い方にあると思う。サビの『お願い~』、『会いたい~』や『どおして~』などの箇所を聴く度に、胸がキリキリ締め付けられる。特別な誰かを想定して、作られ歌っているのかと思わせる。

確実に奥行きは深まっていると考える。
