イントロのライオットからあなたはこのサウンドにひきこまれます。
キーボードのサウンド、そしてフレットレスベース
ただちょっとこりすぎてる感じ。
楽器のうまささをきくにはいいアルバムですね。
メンバーもトリオしては最高のものです。
まあ聴いてください。

　ホワイトスネイク脱退後の作品は一通り聴いてみましたが、私はこのアルバムが一番好きです。なんといっても楽曲の良さが際立っています。荘厳な雰囲気の骨太ブリティッシュハードロックとでもいうか、ＺＥＰのハードロック的側面をかなり意識した作風といいましょうか。ホワイトスネイク時代のポップで華やかな雰囲気はかなり薄れていますが、非常に完成度の高いアルバムで、所謂、「捨て曲」といわれるような楽曲が1曲もありません。
　ギター、ベース、ドラムのトリオバンドですが、キーボードが控えめながら、非常に効果的な使われ方をしています。
　サイクシーのギターもコシのある素晴らしいサウンドで迫ってきますし、カーマインアピスのドラムサウンドもかっこいいです。
　そしてなんといっても素晴らしいのが、トニーフランクリンのフレットレスを駆使したベースプレイ。ファンキーにそして時にはメロディックに弾きまくっています。マルコメンドゥーサもすごいのですが、私個人としては、トニーのベースの方が好きです。
　最後に~サイクシーのヴォーカルはなかなか上手いと思います。ギタリストにしておくのはもったないくらいです。（褒めすぎかな・・・？でもゲイリームーアよりは上手いような気がする。ファンの人すいません。）
　ジョンサイクスの最高傑作！。飽きずに末永く楽しめるハードロックアルバムです。
