「ずっと望んでいたものを一瞬で掴みとれるたった一度のチャンスがあったら、お前はそれを捕えるられるか？それとも逃がしちまうのか？」というエミネムの語りから始まる”Loose Yourself”。その他のエミネムのオリジナルアルバムが内省的なのに比べて、このアルバムはもっとポジティブで冷静で熱い感じ。エミネム以外でもHIP-HOP界のビッグネームを始め、アメリカで大ブレーク中の50cent、独特の声と詞でone&onlyな存在のメイシー・グレイ、「8Mile」にも出演し要注目のタリンとその兄ケリンのBoomkat、と今の音楽シーンを彩る音楽てんこもりの１枚だと思います。

そして何よりやっぱり「Loose Yourself」の持つパワーに圧倒されます。ちょっといつもよりもロックよりな感じですが、無駄な音を削ぎ落とした直球勝負のこの曲と詞の内容は、普段エミネムが好きでない人にも、エミネムが好きな人にとっても、彼の底力を感じさせてくれる1曲ではないでしょうか。「やるって心に決めたことは何でもできんだよ。」と締めくくるこの曲は、エミネムの音楽に対する正直さも感じさせてくれる１曲です。

エミネム、50centとか名前は知っていたけど、このCDで初めて聞きました。
Lose yourself が聞きたくて、というのがまあ１番の目的でした。

エミネムの曲はすごく気に入ったけど、他の曲は私はあんまりでした。
いろんな曲があるのでその中から好きなアーティストを見つけてもいいと思います。
私はエミネムの他の曲を聞くきっかけになりました。
ラップが好きな人は聞いてみてください。

昨年、”THE　Eminem　show”で年間1位を獲得したＥＭＩＮＥＭ。
そのEMINEMが主演した映画のサントラです。
１曲目の”Lose　Yourself”のために購入しました。
10週以上トップに君臨したモンスターシングルです。
この1曲のためだけに購入してもいいと思いますが、
16曲すべて全く飽きずに楽しめます。
映画自体も全米1位、一億ドル突破で日本公開も期待できます。

アカデミー賞オリジナル歌曲賞も受賞しましたし、
この機会に購入されてはいかがでしょうか？
