このキットで注目したいのは元々このゲームで魅力とされていたシステムに対する拡張性だ。

最新のハードウェアに合わせたテクスチャサイズの拡張や、視界の広さ、地形の複雑さの設定が可能になった事で、他のゲームとは一線を画してきた広大なバトルフィールドをさらなる次元で体感できるようになる。さらに、持ち物を置く事が可能になった点も加ると、戦術面においても過去のミッションやマルチプレイなどを含めてこのキットの導入で受ける恩恵はかなり大きいと言えるだろう。
もちろん、新たに追加されたキャンペーンやミッションも魅力にあふれるものばかりで、それに伴って追加された武器や乗り物（バイクやバスもある！）が新たな視点で楽しませてくれる。

唯一の心配事として、シナリオの複雑さに起因する「本作に対する慣れ」が必要とされていることが挙げられるのではなかろうか。シナリオ日本語翻訳ガイドがついているとはいえ、これまでのキャンペーンとは違ったやや上級者向けの背景設定や、会話を起点とした状況判断などは多少なりともこのゲームを理解している必要があるように思う。

とはいえ、オペレーションフラッシュポイントを一通り遊び倒し、かつハードウェアが充実している方には是非おすすめしたい一作である。

戦争ゲームですから、戦闘シーンはありますが、
キャンペーンシーンでは、ドラマの１役を演じるというイメージ
の感想を受けました。
戦闘よりも、ドラマというか、全体の流れ重視というか、映画を
見ているような感じ。
日本語マニュアルがありますが、しゃべりが英語なので、英検３級
の実力で、とことどころ辞書を引きながら、解釈しています。

英語が瞬時に理解できれば、楽しいと思います。
あと、個人的なわがままですが、無線の指示がうるさい。
実際の戦闘は、こうなのかもしれませんが。
