史上初の２ケ国共催の期待と不安、そして熱狂に始まり、予想外の展開に一喜一憂し、感動のうちに成功に終わった2002FIFA WORLDCUP KOREA/JAPAN。日本代表の16強入りにも大いに沸いたけれど、開催パートナーとしてセミファイナリストまでに粘りまくった韓国代表の大活躍にも深い感動を覚えたものです。そんな彼らを、スタジアムや街角を赤く染めて熱烈に支え、声を枯らし、そしてともに勝利を掴んだ「赤い悪魔(RedDevl)」。その雄叫びを、いま再び。
01.Into The Arenaではいきなりスタジアムのヴォルテージが大炸裂！06.アリランや11.オー！必勝(ピルスン)コリアといった応援歌からバラード調やPOP調の歌、韓国民謡まで何でもアリ！の１枚。"12番目の太極戦士"の熱い想いがひしひし伝わってきて、コレを聴いたあなたもいつの間にか元気と勇気がついてること間違いなし(まさに「聴くキムチパワー」？)！

ちなみに僕は韓国で発売された同名アルバムも持ってますが、内容は全く同じながらもブックレットはこの日本発売版の方が開きやすくていいですね。あと、日本語訳も実にありがたい(欲を言うなら歌詞にルビも欲しかったかな)。さぁ、あなたもこのアルバムで"Fighting!!"
