私は、水樹奈々さんの歌を聞いたのはこのＣＤが初めてなのですが
その歌唱力に驚かされました。声優ということでさして期待もしていなく、評判だけで買ったようなものでしたが、聴き終わって完全に考えを改めさせられました。

正直、そこらの適当な歌手よりもよっぽど、発声も表現も上だと思います。曲目も、ポップス系のものを中心に、バラード、ロック調等いろいろなジャンルの良い曲がそろっています。
偏見を持たずに、もっと多くの人に聞いてもらいたいと思う一枚でした。

私は「POWER GATE」と「suddenly ~巡り合えて~」しか聞いたことがなかったので､
「<強くて元気>系の歌ばっかりだったら嫌だなぁ」という一抹の不安を胸に購入したのですが､
そんなことはなかったです。水樹奈々さん､すごい！
かわいい歌もかっこいい歌も､元気な歌も寂しげな歌も､見事に歌いこなしていらっしゃる。

感情もこめているのに、とても安定感のある歌声。
何回も繰り返し聞けるアルバムです。買って損はありません。

ちなみに、「through the night」と「POWER GATE」がオススメです。

矢吹氏の曲の全盛期ともいえるアルバム。1stアルバムが悪いというわけではないのですが、やはりここまでの歌手としての水樹奈々を知るためにはとにもかくにもまずはこのアルバムから(5thアルバムはまた少し方向性が違いますが)。ジャンル的にもバリエーションに富んでいて、最もバランスのとれたアルバムだと思います。アルバム全体という流れで見ると決してまとまりがいいとは言えませんが、今後の奈々さんの歌に繋がる様々な要素が詰め込まれていて、聴き応えは十分です。3th、4thアルバムを聴いてファンになった方にはぜひ聴いてもらいたい1枚です。
