現代社会では忘れがちな、大事な人を思う心、祈る心、好きな人を求める気持ちをうまく描いた作品です。

インファナル・アフェアのエディソン・チャンを主役に、日本でのシーンも香港のシーンもうまく撮影されていますし、その両方がうまくつながっています。
彼の表情は一見くせがありそうですが、彼の演技にはくせがなく、この映画の主役としてぴったりだと思います。
日本でのシーンで、日本人と結婚した旅館の主人に、チューヤンがでているのも見所です。

エディソン・チャンは車好きの青年を演じ、実際スポーツカーで見事なドライバー役もつとめていますが、もしかしたらイニシャルディーの主役は、彼がやってもよかったような気もします。

彼を知り、そして彼を好きになれる映画です。

主人公が身分の違う女の人を好きになるといる、古典的な内容のストーリー。しかし、主人公演じるエディソンファンにはたまらない作品です。また、親友役で登場しているサム・リーは、かなりおもしろ、おかしく登場しており、サムをみるだけでも、見る価値あり。

テレンス・インが出ていて、エディソン・チャンが主役。メインにサム・リーがいるといった具合で、完全キャスト目的で見ました。当然のように、キャスト的には星５つ！（笑）
ファンなら楽しめる。あとは、こういう王道ラブストーリィで感動出来る人かな。ストーリィにひねりが欲しいと思う方にはオススメ出来ませんな。
でも、個人的には結構好きでした。何でも王道な展開っていうのは気ぃ抜いて安心して見ていられます。そこが好き。ハッピーエンドだし。見終わったとき、すっきりします。

テレンス、登場時間は短いのですが（後半のちょこっと）、インパクトはあります！　なぜか明るいところに出ているシーンはなかったのですが（確か）、それでも、テレンスの魅力はたんまり。
アマンダとテレンスが同じ場面にいたとき、マーシャル・エンジェルを連想してしまい、修羅場ちっくで笑えました（笑）。

蛇足。チューヤンが広東語喋ってんのに驚いた。そういや香港の人だったっけ？　でも日本語話してるときの方が見ていて落ち着きます（笑）。やっぱこれだよ、チューヤンは、みたいな落ち着きが（笑）。
