　細野晴臣プロデュースによる、素晴らしきあがたワールド。
　ムーンライダーズ系、ティンパン系のミュージシャンが勢揃い。まさに金字塔。かしぶち哲郎、鈴木博文、矢野顕子、鈴木慶一、大貫妙子、山下達郎、矢野誠、鈴木茂、南佳孝、西岡恭蔵、等々。

　２枚のCDに日本のロックの「おいしい」ところが濃縮されており、まさに必聴。紙ジャケットによる限定復刻なので、お早めに。

このアルバムは文句無く、初期型あがた森魚の最高傑作です。
｢乙女の儚夢｣、｢噫無情(レ･ミゼラブル)｣、と展開してきた、塩化ビニル円盤上での音楽劇の構築事業が、この2枚組塩化ビニルで見事に完成されています。

おそらくは北海道あたりと思われる日本の小さな港から始まる少年の航海が、思いもかけぬ大冒険となり、七つの大洋から海底までもを駆け抜ける。
目くるめく冒険の後、気がつくとまた静かな港へ戻っている。
全ては夢か･･･

ヴァージンVS、バンドネオンのジャガー、といった改良型あがた森魚、改良2型あがた森魚へ至る、このアルバム後の｢君のこと好きなんだ｣や幻に終わった企画｢弥勒｣等、の沈黙(不遇)を考える上でも貴重なアルバム。
