前半はピアノ弾き語りによる独自のアレンジの童謡が中心になっています。子どもの歌だからといってなめてかかってはいけません。奥が深いことこのうえなし。ピアノ弾き語りの矢野ファンにとって必聴ものだとおもいます。またジャズイーな１０曲目のかっこいいこと！！何回聴いてもゾクゾクします。

誰が、疑問をはさめますか？この表現に、私の評価に誰が口を挟むのですか？彼女ほどの表現者が他にいるのでしょうか？日本ではなく他にも存在するのでしょうか？誰が彼女の歌を真似できるのか？童謡を中心に歌っているが、それと感じさせないのは由紀さおりなみの高みにすでにいるのだと思う。しかし、このレコードの発売時期を考えると矢野に軍配です。細野晴臣の曲が取り上げられているところも私好み！！！これと向き合う事を勧めます。
