5.0 out of 5 stars すごい物を見せて頂きました, 2002/10/26
前作からガラリと作風を変え、かなり暗く、重い雰囲気で来た本作。最初は少し疑問に思う部分もあったのですが、この５巻は、これまで積み上げて来たものが良い意味で昇華され、完全に前作を吹っ切った「大傑作」と太鼓判を押せそうです。何より作画、演出、音楽の使い方など、どれを取っても欠点なし。ラストシーンは、テーマ曲「羽音」の入るタイミングなども含め、涙なしでは見られません。いやー、見続けて来て良かった。久々に、ＴＶではなかなか見られないＯＶＡならではの作品を見た、という感じです。願わくば、このクオリティのまま最後まで突っ走って欲しい所ですが。さて。

前作から、３０年後の世界を舞台に活躍するゲートキーパーズ隊のそれぞれの抱える悩みがうまくこうさする作品であり、同時に切ない感じを残す作品になっている。前回の４巻のラストで敵の銃弾に倒れる主人公が、すごく印象的だったので、この５巻はすごく楽しめる作品になっている。特にこの５巻のキーポイントとなるのは、今まで明かされることがなかったゲート能力の秘密である。これだけでも、十分に楽しめる展開になっているだろう。ついに物語もラストスパート、主人公達の未来に待っているのは光か闇か、目が離せない展開に十分期待できるだろう。あと、付属のＣＤもおもしろい話がきけるので、ぜひ買って確かめてみてください私が保証します。
